Al Pinch Bolts

While the brakes were apart I took the opportunity to finalize some bolt tuning.  In my opinion Aluminum bolts have the strength to hold cables in a cable pinch setup.  The most important thing is to finalize your build and adjustments before switching over to alloy bolts.  As a precaution, don’t use them on brake cables.

I’ve also changed the front derailer bolt to an aluminum piece as that bolt isn’t highly stressed.  All cable ends are now capped with heat shrink (yes they are lighter than aluminum cable caps but not by much).  Its all in the details.
